I asked the sales associate at my local Ulta store that I wanted a finishing powder that would absorb oil. She asked me my price range and I told her around $30. I was directed towards another associate who guided me towards “Tarte“. I had never used the brand, but she told me that this product was the powder of all powders for oily skin.
I had gone to my local spa to get my hair done, where my hairdresser (who had warned me before that my hair was too dry) had had enough of my hair. Along with chopping half of it off (which it needed) she washed it thoroughly with this product twice. After my hair had been styled and curled it was the softest hair I had ever touched in my life. The curls were bouncy and shiny, and they had just been dyed, blow-dried and curled!
I had been home for spring break and had forgotten my Jurlique Soothing Foaming Cleanser. Tragic, but I decided to find an affordable, moisturizing cleanser that would serve as my daily wash. I wanted one that served as a humectant, all the while scrubbing away dirt and oil I may have accumulated during the day.
