Fight Dryness

The Body Shop: Drops of Youth – I don’t find that I often incorporate serums into my life. I usually go and get a second-hand serum from my mom to make up for the fact that I don’t want to buy one. However, I have been changing my skincare routine to match the Korean standard (where their skin routine can include up to 10 products a day on face alone). I’ve used The Body Shop products before, and I decided to give them another go.

Rosehip Skin Serum – another wonderful product by Kimberly’s Kupboard, this skin serum is meant to act as a healer and a strong oil-based emollient (moisturizer). The serum worked wonders on my face and regulated my oil production very well. The Rosehip Skin Serum also smells amazing and has a very soothing scent. Be sure to visit Kimberly’s Kupboard on Etsy to look into all her amazing products!

Naturopathica Geranium Regenerating Serum “I wanted a new, revitalizing serum that would enhance my skin’s elasticity and brightness. I also wanted a serum that could add moisturizing benefits as well.”

Naturopathica Lavender Protective Moisturizer SPF 17 – “I wanted a moisturizer that I could wear all day that wouldn’t smudge my makeup and would also protect my skin from the blazing summer month ahead.”

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream – Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream asserts on their packaging that this cream firms, lifts and hydrates skin. By using this product, I am focused on protecting my skin from wrinkles and dryness.

Control Oil

Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder – “Since I was told that this powder would help me with my oily skin problem, I decided to give it a go. I checked out the ingredients to see what was in the powder that would deliver these results. Tarte’s website asserted that 90% of women saw improvements in their skin texture immediately.”

Nyx Shine Killer Primer Potion – A primer is meant to act as a base for foundation. Sometimes, if you are going natural, you will only use the primer. Therefore, those of us who have shiny faces need a mattifying primer that controls oil and leaves skin looking flawless. Does Nyx Shine Killer Primer hold up to this ideal?
